Obituary of Jorge Omar Gallardo - Moreno

Jorge Omar Gallardo-Moreno, 7/30/1967-03/18/2023, 55 years old. Jorge Gallardo went to rest with our Lord Jesus Christ on 03/18/2023. He was born in Monterrey, Mexico, and raised in Anahuac, Chihuahua, Mexico. Later, he resided in Denver, CO, as a young man and in 1996 during a winter storm, he met his soulmate and wife Maria Theresa Pacheco, and their adventures lives began. He blessed her with 27 years of laughter, traveling, and endless love. He raised four amazing children, Raquel, Elvida, Jorge and Omar. He and his wife always supported their children on their life journeys. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson Julian, looking at pictures of his one-month-old granddaughter Isabella, whom he never got to hold. He recently cried in joy with the news that his son, Jorge Gallardo, was accepted to Medical School. Outdoor activities and sports were his favorite pastimes. He was an avid supporter of the WLV Dons and Denver Broncos. He followed his sons Jorge and Omar playing sports since they were boys. Traveling and providing snacks to their teams was a priority. He cheered all the kids on, gave them advice, and became a community dad. Jorge was always making someone laugh. He was simply a comedian. He allowed his nieces and nephews to sit on his lap and drive his wheelchair when they were small. His injuries never changed who he really was. He loved making memories with all the kids he could, family or not. We thank all the people who crossed his path in life and loved him so. We also ask to please cherish his funny memories and how often he made every one laugh.

Jorge Gallardo-Moreno is proceeded in death by his parents, Jorge Gallardo Ozgar, Victoria Marcia Moreno-Rodriguez from Mexico and his father-in-law Lorenzo Pacheco.

He is survived by his wife Maria Theresa Gallardo, sons Jorge Lorenzo Gallardo (Samantha) and Omar De Jesus Gallardo (Sarai), daughters Raquel Mascarenas (Gabriel) of Commerce City, CO and Elvida Gallardo (Jose Jacobo) of Northglenn CO, grandchildren Julian and Isabella Jacobo, sisters Laura Gallardo (Daniel), Marcia Gallardo (Alberto), Mayra Reyes (Daniel) and Norma Morales (Enrique) all of Mexico. In-laws: precious Mother-in Law Jane Pacheco, brothers-in-law Larry Herrera (Jane) of Rocky Ford, CO, Johnny Pacheco of Tecolote, sisters-in-law Ramona Martinez (Sam) of Tecolote, and Melinda Quinonez (Mike) of Algodones, NM. Finally, numerous nephews and nieces.
