Obituary of David Elcey Jones

David Elcey Jones 97 born in a small town in Texas, widow, father, grandfather (Papa), and great grandfather (Papa David), passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, February 9th, 2023. Three years before his goal of living to 100.

David enjoyed telling stories about his life on the road as a truck driver. He loved to tell jokes to his family, watching NASCAR, fishing and spending time with his dog JJ.

David will be missed dearly by his son Richard Jones and wife Betty, Ronald Jones and wife Yolanda daughter Dolly Jones, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We know that he is enjoying his time in Haven with his wife Teresa Jones, son David Jones, and grandson Richard Jones.
