Obituary of Alexander Lujan Jr.

Alex Lujan Jr, native of Albuquerque, was born December 19, 1942, and passed away peacefully at the age of 79 to cancer on September 8, 2022.

Alex is preceded in death by his mother, Betha Lujan, and two sons – Alex Lujan III and Anthony Wayne Lujan.

Alex is survived by his wife of 42 years, Irma Bernal-Lujan, his son David and wife Norma; Stepson Anthony and wife Sara; stepson Dominic Bernal; Sisters Lillian, Judy, Louise and Husband Soney; Betty and Husband Robert; Brother-In-Law Robert and Wife Nancy; Mauro and Wife Teresa Rudy; Sister-In-Law Yolanda; Rebecca and Husband Leonard; Sandra and Husband Ed; Ann and Husband Mike; Debra and Husband Gary; Mother-In-Law Lucy San Martin, 14 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

Alex was an avid ready and always sharing his knowledge and substance. He was a friend and helper to many and loved to be around his friends and family. He worked with the homeless by helping and feeding them. He will be very missed by his family.

Services will be held on September 29, 2022, at 10:00 AM at Journey City Church, located on 300 Menaul Blvd NW, Suite #216, between 4th and Menaul.
