Derrick Dwayne Lucas, 43, of De Leon, Texas passed away, Monday, June 20, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born December 8, 1978 in North Texas to Douglas Charles Lucas and Deborah Kaye Lucas.
Derrick had a passion for technology. He also enjoyed traveling and meeting new people.
He is survived by his daughter Kayla Torrez and granddaughter Fayelin Torrez; brother, Damen Lucas and wife, Marla; nieces, Caterina Lucas, and Natalie Lucas. Derrick has been reunited with his parents Doug and Deborah.
Derrick will be cremated at Riverside Funeral home in Albuquerque. There will be no funeral service.
