Obituary of Mark Patrick Meadows

            Mark P. Meadows passed away in his Albuquerque home, surrounded by his family, on August 24, 2021. He was born in Michigan on July 27, 1954. Mark was preceded in death by his father William E. Meadows, his mother and stepfather, Eunice and Pete Foley, his brother John W. Meadows, his sister, Jackie Shadle, his stepbrother Pete Foley Jr., his sister-in-law Sue Meadows, brother-in-law Richard Blackburn, his son Jon Mark Meadows, and the mother of his children, Linda Meadows.

            Mark is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Sarah Meadows (Albuquerque), his son and daughter-in-law, Jake and Tina Meadows (Rio Rancho), his daughter and son-in-law, Sarah (Meadows) and Johnny Gutierrez (Arvada, CO), his son Jordan Meadows (Albuquerque), his grandchildren Jamie Gutierrez, Adam Meadows, Kayla Meadows, Joseph Gutierrez, Janelle Gutierrez, Bella Meadows and Brycen Meadows, his great-grandson Allen Romero, his brother and sister-in-law Richard and Rose Meadows (Ocala, FL), brother and sister-in-law Terry and Becky Meadows (Albuquerque), brother Dave Meadows (Alvin, TX), brother Tom Meadows (Albuquerque), sister Maggi (Meadows) Blackburn (Edgewood), and brother-in-law Dave Shadle (Albuquerque), several nieces and nephews, as well as his neighbors, Cory and Sarah Hodges, who were like family to him.

            Mark was a fan of the outdoors, and his children look back fondly on the various camping and fishing trips that they went on together with the rest of the family. His hobbies included building model cars and trucks, something he passed onto his sons, as well as playing pool, which he often did at the Edelweiss German American Club, where he was a long-time member and met many friends at.
